What These Numbers Mean for
San Joaquin County

Pacific Gateway will support approximately 24,000 construction jobs during development and create more than 15,800 full-time jobs across advanced manufacturing, logistics, e-commerce and clean energy— industries built to last. For residents who commute hours each day to the Bay Area or Sacramento, Pacific Gateway provides the option to work closer to home, saving time and staying connected to the community.

Projected to generate nearly $140 million in annual tax revenue, the project will provide a sustained boost to San Joaquin County’s public finances. Funding firefighters, sheriff’s deputies, schools, roads, new parks, and critical infrastructure year after year. Over time, Pacific Gateway is estimated to produce more than $1.2 billion in annual employee earnings and $3.6 billion in total economic output, creating a multiplier effect that strengthens local businesses and service providers across the region.

Combined with the new Stanislaus State Tracy Campus, Pacific Gateway builds a direct pipeline from education to employment, keeping local talent local.
